Support/Parenting Plan Modifications

• Child support may be adjusted at regular intervals, or modified at any time due to a substantial change in circumstances.
• Parenting Plans may be modified based on a substantial change in circumstances if modification is in the child’s best interest.
• A formal procedure must be followed if either parent intends to change a child’s principal residence; this applies if the move will be to another state, as well as in-state relocation to a new school district.
